Yea, I started this kinda trading as well. Some problems I have run into. I can be profitable but the commissions are killing me on the small account balance like $500 so I started trading lower priced options in higher quantities in order to get cheaper transaction costs. We will see how that goes. My first month was about the same as your $1k. I waited to long on many of options.
